Sonata No.4, Op.12, Jean-Baptiste Breval, arr. Fedor Amosov
Jean-Baptiste Breval (1753-1823). This is the fourth of six sonatas by Breval. They were originally written for cello and basso continuo. This is the first time they are available for cello and piano. These wonderful arrangements are by Fedor Amosov. GREAT NEWS! There is now a marvelous CD available of all six Breval sonatas, by Fedor Amosov, cello and Alexey Kurgatov, piano. It is in our CD section and is our code #ST349CD. Please note, the scans of the music are poor, but the music itself is sharp and clear.
